In June 2018 the University of Wisconsin-Parkside launched six online Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs. Each of these programs can be completed in as few as 12 months. With a tuition cost of $18,000, the UW-Parkside MBA is one of the most affordable in the Midwest.

UW-Parkside’s MBA program consists of 30 credit hours. Each of the six options offers an accelerated format with seven-week courses, a choice of six start dates and a GMAT waiver for applicants who qualify.

UW-Parkside offers six MBA concentration options.

General Management
Learn innovative techniques, important business skills and strategies, and multiple management types, such as corporate financial management, marketing management, project management, global management, and operations management.

Data Analytics
Develop your analytical skills with this exceedingly sought-after MBA concentration. You will learn how to quantitatively manage social media, digital marketing, consumer behavior, advertising, website analytics and more.

Finance
Prepare for a number of domestic or international roles including financial analyst, finance manager and chief financial officer. You will study the operational and structural makeup of financial institutions and learn control, implementation and strategy formulation.

Global Management
Grow within this diverse role as a global account manager, global business administrator or business analyst director. Gain the skills to work in a global environment that requires knowledge of logistics, strategy and ethics.

Marketing
Develop the skills to work in a variety of roles such as marketing manager, marketing analyst, brand manager and more. Expect to learn key digital techniques within the social media, consumer behavior and marketing space.

Supply Chain Management
Design, control and manage complex supply chain systems in production, manufacturing and operations manager roles. You will study inventory and network planning, sustainability, and logistics.

Job Prospects for MBAs

The outlook is bright for business school graduates. Eighty-one percent of companies plan to hire MBA grads in 2018, per GMAC’s Corporate Recruiters Survey. The report also notes that data analytics and marketing roles are among the top jobs employers plan to fill in 2018. Earning a specialized MBA in either concentration prepares you for those high-demand areas.
