Career Highlights:
I have been teaching at the university level as a professor from last 11 years. I have published in numerous reputed journals including "Decision Science Journal of Innovative Education," "Journal of Computer Information Systems," "Health & Technology," "International Journal of Inventory Management," and "Journal of Critical Incidences." I am a member of an editorial board and a reviewer for academic journals. I have received awards for research papers at international-level conferences worldwide. I have been conducting workshops in structural equation modeling for faculties and doctoral students. During my academic career, I have advised many students on research projects, participated in community projects, and provided consulting to small businesses and non-profit organizations.

What do you want your students to take away from class?
As business and societies are evolving and connecting in dynamic digital environment, data analytics has gained prominence in every aspect of business functioning. Important takeaways are 1) link every decision to data and 2) apply analytical and software tools to make decisions.
Why did you start teaching?
Teaching is my passion. Growing up in a competitive Indian academic environment, my life revolved around education. I could achieve success in my profession due to access to education and inspiration from my mother (who is also an educator) and teachers. What advice would you give to your future online students?
To be successful in an online degree program:
- Read the syllabus and course details a week before classes start
- Have a weekly plan ready with due dates, and set aside time to complete assignments.
- Use discussions as opportunities to build a strong community of friends.
What do you do when you need a laugh?
Dinner, socialize, meetups.

I enjoy the outdoors, traveling, and cooking. I read a lot of books in the medical field related to diet, health, and lifestyle.
